In January 2020 I participated in my first, A Mother's Rest retreat at the Afton House Inn in Minnesota.
I have two teens/adults with special needs that are 19 with multiple diagnosis. The on going care is exhausting
A Mother's Rest and the Afton House made registration easy and affordable. The staff at Afton House were kind and accommodating.
I shared meals with others mom's, and also had alone time in my room. It was a good balance of socializing and rest.
I'm so grateful for A Mother's Rest and it's partners.
