We had a lot of fun helping to prepare the meals and meeting new people. The only thing that bothered me is that those managing the tables weren't very consistent with how they were doing things. We had been placed at two different tables and the first one felt like it had a good flow and people were enjoying it and getting the work done fast. The second one felt very rigid and if we weren't going fast enough then people were complaining and they were more picky about how things had to be done. This is a volunteer thing and so I know it won't be perfect, but lets do what we can to make it enjoyable so that people will have a good experience and not walk away thinking how uncoordinated things were and felling like they just finished a day at work, when they should be leaving feeling like they had a great time and are excited for the next opportunity to serve.
