some years ago I volunteered with this organization. I went through extensive training before officially becoming a volunteer which was such a learning and beneficial experience that well prepared me for my role. This organization does so much that many might not know about unless they take the time to look at the website or volunteer with them. They do a great amount for the community with its donation store, and shelter for example, and reach many more through the crisis helpline. Out of all the organizations I have volunteered with this one has been a standout of exemplary contribution to the surrounding community.
