I have been a puppy raiser for SEGDI for the past ten years and am currently raising my 8th dog. It is a joy and an honor to be involved with the raising and training of one of the noblest animals in existence - a working dog. SEGDI treats it's puppy raisers with great respect and gratitude. They make it clear that the program would not exist without us.

I have been to the Palmetto campus on a couple of occasions. The grounds are beautiful and the thought that they have put into training opportunities are phenomenol, from the railroad track mock-up to the variety of walking services. I had the opportunity to go to the puppy kennels and spend some time "hugging puppies". The area was absolutely spotless and there was no smell even though the building housed many dogs and many puppies.
