My Nonprofit Reviews

When I needed community service hours for church back in the seventh grade my mom saw an ad in the newspaper for a summer camp for children with special needs. I had originally signed myself up for a week of volunteering but I quickly fell in love with the children and activities we did with them. I’m writing this now as a senior in high school and the president of the Camelot for Children Junior Board. Not only did volunteering here provide me with amazing experiences and stories but it also helped me choose my career path. I plan to major in special education next year in college and I owe it all to this amazing nonprofit.
