Greetings, I am writing in support of the tremendous benefits provided by the Reno Rodeo Foundation to families and children, in the Reno community. Frankly, I discovered them almost by accident. I work with an organization that wanted to make a donation in honor of my deceased wife. They asked me to find an Community Foundation that would address her passion to help children dealing with challenging health or family circumstances, so that they could experience Greater Joy and Happiness, Laughter and Love in their lives and for their families.
My wife rode in the Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive for nearly a decade and I remember her telling me a portion of the fees she paid, benefitted local children. After doing my due diligence and speaking with Clara Andriola, I soon realized the tremendous benefits and programs supported by the Reno Rodeo Foundation. I called my client to inform them and we agreed that there was no better way to honor Annie, and support families and children in need than by donating to the Reno Rodeo Foundation. I am so impressed by the work Clara and her team do in Reno. This is EXACTLY where my wife, Annie Welch would want her Memorial Donation to be invested and utilized.
