I recently visited the Kayne Eras Center and it's such a wonderful, caring educational program. While I was there, I witnessed first hand the expertise and genuine care of the staff. A student was having an intense moment on the playground and she was clearly in distress. It was not evident what triggered it but she was very gently and thoughtfully surrounded by staff members speaking to her with respect and dignity; words of kindness and safety. You could see in their faces and body language such understanding and real concern for her. My heart went out to her. Our kids and community are so fortunate to have the wonderful staff at Kayne Eras Center.
