I stayed at the Rosemary Farm Guest House this past July with my husband and daughter. A feeling of quiet and peace enveloped me as soon as I stepped out of the car after a long journey from NYC. We helped care for the horses and took a tour so had an inside view of the whole operation. I was impressed with the structures they had designed and built for the needs of the horses. They were spacious, clean and well kept. It warmed my heart to see the horses happily living together in herds the way they were meant to. Dawn is totally dedicated to her mission and somehow finds the money to pay for expensive medical care when warranted. I loved how a few horses are rotated to roam free near her house which is on the farm property. She takes in blind and disabled horses that nobody wants and provides them with a great life. Sorry I haven't mentioned Robert, her husband, who works as hard as she does and is especially attached to their donkey with a prosthetic leg. I really can't say enough good things about the place. I'm just glad there are people like them in the world to save these beautiful, majestic animals. Carol O
