Review for Honor and Remember, Inc., Chesapeake, VA, USA
To say Run For the Fallen and their mission is AMAZING would be an understatement. The pain, sweat and tears will be forever etched in my mind. In 2018, I ran with some super incredible people with Run For The Fallen. As a group we covered 47 miles and I ran 17 of them over a 3 day period. We stopped at every mile to recognize a fallen hero.
Mile 38, my late husbands mile was oh so special to me. The entire group ran this mile with me! As they called Lt Bantee Hall II, I was moved to tears! 6,150 days later, Run For The Fallen (Honor and Remember) made sure Bantee was not forgotten. Almost 17 years later........the emotions took over, as if he left this earth yesterday.
I can’t thank George Lutz enough for his vision for this organization! The compassion he and the runners have shown has been incredible. The instant connections and bonds have been unreal!
