Review for Pauls Project - Grace Campus, Lubbock, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

When we came to Grace Campus my husband and I were on the street. He has alot of health problems. He had been needing a hip replacement. We had been sleeping on the ground at a little pond behind the stripes on 50th and Ave A. The day before we came here, it rained that night and we had no blanket or anything. We had the clothes on our back and that was it. I had tried to call several times and never got an answer. So i told my husband that we would just come over here. We used the last of our money to ride the bus here. When we got here the staff was great and helped us fill out the application and we were excepted on the spot. I prayed all the way over here that we would be able to get in and God answered my prayers. I believe in my heart that God sent us here. We were able to get clothes, blankets, everything that we needed. I have been able to get the health care that I have needed for years going through the programs that are available here. Without Grace Campus I dont know where my husband and I would be! The directors are amazing people, the do everything that they can to help the homeless people in our community. Grace Campus is a Blessing to our community, it not only help the homeless get off the street it helps them in so many other ways. My husband and I have been so blessed by being at grace campus. The Lubbock community is also a blessing to Grace Campus, If they didnt donate the things they do then Grace Campus would not be able to run. They have blessed us in so many ways. My husband is now about to have the total hip replacement that he has so desprately needed, We wouldnt be where we are today without the help of Grace Campus! So many homeless people have been helped to find work and transition out to their own homes. 70+ just this year alone. 78 last year! to me that is Amazing!
