I was introduced to NeedyMeds shortly after it was organized. As then the Executive Director of a national nonprofit working to stimulate and promote safe and appropriate use of medication, the ability to refer patients, healthcare providers and caregivers to NeedyMeds for support and assistance with accessing necessary medications helped fill a tremendous void. NeedyMeds' approach to fulfilling its mission is one of high-quality expertise, professionalism and compassion. Their staff is well-trained and prepared to provide services related to accessing high-cost / high-need medicines, as well as providing educational resources through the BeMedWise Program @ NeedyMeds to better equip and enable patients and caregivers to safely use / administer, store and dispose of unused medicines.

NeedyMeds also maintains a database of free- and low-cost medical clinics, also a tremendous resource to help consumers in need of access to medical care.

The commitment of NeedyMeds is reflected in the fact that its founder and president is a physician, who has spent his medical career working on behalf of all patients to ensure access to otherwise unattainable medications.
