Thank you to our Keaukaha School Foundation for kindly supporting us with $100 to spend during the 4th quarter shutdown of school. The money was used for gift cards from Starbucks and Jamba Juice. Students were rewarded weekly for completing the required online assignments. This incentive motivated the students and they were extremely excited to receive their card in the mail.

I want to give a big Mahalo to the Keaukaha School Foundation. It has allowed us to provide more enrichment activities for the students. We do a Market Day every year where the students become entrepreneurs. They form a company and sell goods at their store. Many of the students cannot afford purchasing craft items, so we provide them with what they need. Supplies have also been used for special occasions such Christmas and Mother's Day. Rather than just sending home a card, the students learn how to make a craft item for their family, which they are extremely proud of.
