When the Center For Biological Diversity started the campaign "Call of the Wild" to bring attention to the plight of wolves across the 48 contiguous United States, I signed up to help and collected dozens of signatures on comment cards. I thought it was a very good way to stimulate public awareness and pressure the government to stop weakening the Endangered Species Act. These grass roots efforts are essential if we, as a nation, are going to stop the environmental destruction perpetrated by today's federal government. The Center for Biological Diversity is quick to initiate well-directed campaigns that involve and educate the public. Cheers to Cntr4BioDiv!
