I found out about BAS when my sister adopted her pooch from them 8 years ago. She had such a great experience that I decided to adopt from them as well. They were very helpful and supportive during the adoption process, answering my many questions. I like that they do a two-week foster period to make sure it's a good fit for the pup and you. I've recently started volunteering with BAS at their dog adoption events; it's so much fun to meet the pups and see how happy people are to take them home. BAS does such great work in Baja rescuing dogs and cats, including providing free spay and neuter clinics. I can't say enough good things about them!
