In 2019 Pound Hounds ResQ helped me save a dog that was on the euthanasia list at NYCACC. In 2019, I saw this dog on the at risk list in a high kill shelter in NYC. He was “rescue only” and could only be saved by an approved rescue. Thank God for Pound Hounds. I contacted them and they helped me through the process and I was able to take him home. Their help didn’t stop there. They supported me through some difficult times with him, got me a trainer and helped me work with him! Now, three years later, my boy is flourishing and it is all thanks to Pound Hounds! I will always support them!

I have been following Pound Hounds ResQ since 2018. I have watched them save literally hundreds of dogs in that time!! In 2019, they saved my boy for me from NYCACC. They helped me find a good trainer and supported me through the process! My wonderful boy is now 3 years and 4 months old and alive because of this rescue. I continued to follow and support them!!

I have watched Pound Hounds save so many at risk dogs and cats over the course of the past several years. They find great homes for these animals, get them any medical treatment needed as well as training as needed. They have literally saved the lives of so many dogs that were so close to dying. Difficult medical cases and seniors with medical issues are Pound Hound favorites!! They are a Godsend! I had the pleasure of working with Pound Hounds to save a dog off the At Risk list last year. This dog was in trouble. He was only a year old and on the list for the second time and had no interest. Donna pulled him for me, got me a trainer to help me work on his behavioral difficulties and I ended up adopting him!! Donna and Pound Hounds supports her fosters as well as her adopters. Once a Pound Hounder, Always a Pound Hounder.

I am currently fostering a dog that Pound Hounds pulled for me. He needed some training and they found me a fantastic trainer to work with. So supportive every step of the way in helping this guy be the best he can be! Great to work with!
