This is my grandson Oliver's story. He was diagnosed with severe atopic eczema at the age of one month. We were told to use over the counter hydrocodone on the red spots. We did and they would return so the doctor prescribed triamcinolone betamethosone and protopic. These potent drugs were used for 7 years until I learned the truth by googling Red, Skin and Oozing which led me to itsan.org. Thank God literally. If it weren't for Itsan we would still be living a nightmare. I am ever so grateful for this non profit. It was an answer to my prayers. Oliver was hospitalized many times for his skin. He had chronic staph and severe sinus infections. He started TSW in 2017 at the age of 7. He is 10 now and still having some skin flares but nothing like before. Since withdrawing off the steroids he has been healthy and not been on antibiotics! He is in school, thriving and living life to the fullest! Thank you itsan for all your tireless efforts. Without you we would still be in the trenches fighting this war without ammunition.
