As the CEO and President of a Home Health and Hospice Agency I sought out information from the NHFA to inform my community of their options and rights for a home funeral. Living in the mountains of Colorado the majority of citizens prefer independence, control and choices. The resources and immediate response supplied by the NHFA was informative, complete and met all the needs. I was able to access the rights and process a citizen could chose to care for their deceased loved one in the home with as much connection to a funeral home as desired. The NHFA provides the tools, knowledge and options we all deserve.
