I have 3 dogs from BAS that have become my whole world. 15 year old Shepard mix, 13 year old terrier mix and 3 year old sharpei lab mix. Each one the sweetest ever pups. Adoption process is easy but also thorough. Love this organization

I have 2 dogs from BAS, 7 and 11 now. The volunteers and director were wonderful to work with. They made the process easy and answered all of my questions. They are dedicated to finding the right home for their animals.

I adopted Max in 2009 and Cookie in 2013 from BAS. I had a great experience both times. Max was a very shy dog that took a bit to get adjusted but once he did, he became the best dog ever. Cookie fit right in immediately. They both get along great with my other two dogs and cat. The adoption process was easy with both being fixed and having all shots. It is great the first 2 weeks are a foster period to make sure everything is working before becoming official. I love these pups more than anything and thank BAS for giving them a chance to live a happy and healthy life. Now I volunteer with BAS at their adoption events and many of my friends have also adopted and had great experiences.
