Assistance League of the Eastside is an amazing all-volunteer nonprofit doing great things for people in need on the Eastside. Help4Homeless Welcome Baskets along with a signed card from committee members are given out to a woman or a family entering temporary housing. These baskets contain basic need items to start women and families out for success. One woman at a shelter - cried, "Is this for me?" She was overwhelmed just knowing someone cared about her!
