When my husband had cancer and his social worker told us about For Pete's Sake, I thought it was such a fantastic idea - to get away and "take a break" from the illness. Unfortunately, we didn't make it on a respite trip, but since then I have volunteered with them, and the enthusiasm, commitment, support, and straight up love within the organization is amazing. Such a great group!
