As a volunteer for Catholic Relief Services I have seen firsthand the great work this organization does. Serving in over 112 countries, CRS not only assists people devastated by natural disasters but also works with them after things are under control to teach new skills and show the way to a better, improved life for the future. They do this while maximizing funding (96% of donations are used for the actual work CRS does) and employing people from the various countries to supervise and do the work rather than bringing outsiders in.
