My Carl was a homeless, adandoned cat for 6 yrs. At work we would chip in and feed him .One snowy, freezing day he did show up. After 3 days of calling him he hobbled over on 3 legs and didnt look good. We knew he's nvr survive out there w his injuries. I contacted every 'rescue' in my area. All wanted proof i owned him-thry didnt accept homeless animals. But then the phone rang and it was KarmaCatZenDog in Milltown, NJ calling to see what they could do. They had a meeting & came up w a plan. I trapped him & they were able to have him neutered, chipped, given all the medical attn he needed (turns out he's FIV+) while I fostered him and had him recover in my heated garage. He turned into suck a sweet, loving creature-i just couldnt believe he hadnt known love before. Ive had abt a dozen cats(adopted & purebreed) in my life and none has ever compared to the love, joy & happiness he brings our family literally every day.I am so grateful for their philosphy, their decication & genuine love and compassion. Ive nvr met a group like the before. They amaze me! And every single day Carl amazes us w his ability to live in the moment, put his past behind him and appreciate what he has now. Thanks to KarmaCatZenDog fir helping me save this beautiful soul. Dina
