I first learned of this organization after Hurricane Matthew. Shockingly, churches and people around me spoke of bringing the displaced children of Haiti to the U.S.! But CRS worked with the organizations there to house, to start to clean water, then to crush the piles of cement so people can rebuild. Later I went to Haiti and saw how it really is a world of cement rubble (and discarded plastic). Now I have a chance to advocate for, educate, and fund-raise for national and international humanitarian aid for CRS . The wealth of resources and knowledge the organization provides me is endless. I'm very proud of CRS.
