Review for Journeys End Ranch Animal Sanctuary, Kingman, AZ, USA
Journeys End Ranch Animal Sanctuary is one of the well known rescues in the Kingman area. Cathy takes wonderful care of all her animals. She is always sending pictures of them, including the bunnies, ravens, road runners, you name it - she cares for all of them. I do so enjoy her newsletter - she has videos on it, and lets everyone know what is going on there. There is a little Burro named Poco - and he basically tells us what's going on too.
Review for Mutt Matchers & Friends, Kingman, AZ, USA
Mutt Matchers & Friends is a small rescue and adoption center for dogs. They rescue dogs from kill shelters, and sometimes from people who can no longer keep their dogs. They are UTD on their shots, and micro chipped prior to becoming available for adoptions. All applicants must fill out an adoption application, the entire family is to be interviewed, if another dog(s) are already living with the applicants, there must be an introduction of the dogs, and last a yard check to ensure the safety of the dog being adopted. They are open 6 days a week for the convenience of families. The dogs are treated exceptionally well. They have indoor kennels for sleeping, and inclement weather, and a nice large play yard for during the daytime hours. MM&F has purchased shade cloth to cover the entire play area for the comfort of the dogs and of course the humans that are interacting with the dogs. They also have coolers in the inside kennels for the summer, and well heated during the winter months. They have been in business since November 1st, 2005. They love to have visitors come in and spend time with their pups. All in all it is a very pleasant shelter for dogs.
Review for Equine Wellbeing Rescue Inc., Snowflake, AZ, USA
I have been following the Equine Wellbeing Rescue, Inc. for about a year now. The amazing things they do with their rescued animals is nothing short of wonderful. The before and after pictures of their rescues just put me in awe of this group. God Bless Christine and her group for their dedication and love for animals in need.

From the postings on the internet, the Equine Wellbeing Rescue, Inc. does everything they can to help horses, donkeys and burros. I love to get their newsletter and see what they have been doing. What a wonderful non-profit this place is. I am hoping someday to perhaps visit Christine, and her beautiful sanctuary.
We can't truly express how much we appreciate your taking the time to write this review, your support and friendship to us and all the horses and donkeys too. Thank you, thank you so very much!
Review for Mutt Matchers & Friends, Kingman, AZ, USA
This is a wonderful organization. They truly care about the dogs that they rescue and rehome. The facility is unique in that the dogs have a outer large individual kennels and common shaded play area. They also have indoor kennels that are heated in the winterand cooled in the summer. Their indoor kennels are cleaned and sanitized daily. The staff mannerizes and socializes all of the dogs with walks, basic training, office (family) time. All dogs are current on shots, they are spayed or neutered and they are microchiped. When someone wants to adopt they must fill out an application, be interviewed by a panel, agree to a yard security check. If they have ither dogs they must bring the dog in for an introduction. The small staff and volunteers do all that they can to maintain physical and mental well being of the dogs in their care
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Many adoptions and rescues.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Maintain the present activities of this organization
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Seeing rescued dogs gi to their "fur-ever homes". Having adopters bring their dogs back for visits and seeing how happy and content the dogs are.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
All of our volunteers are very considerate and kind to our dogs as well as our human visitors.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Buy a larger piece of land and expand to rescue more dogs and possibly add a cattery. Have a vet on staff to do shots, spay/neuters, and general health care. Hire more staff for more in depth socialization and basic training for our dogs.
Ways to make it better...
More dogs could have been rescued and adopted.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
They have a small facility that cannot be expanded because of land constraints. Keeping donations coming in to fund the center.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The founder of the organization is an experienced trainer & handler. All of the staff and volunteers have been trained in basic handling and dog psychology.
