I adopted a dog from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue over 7-years ago. Shortly after adopting, I started volunteering with AAUPR. My first activity was fostering digs. Then I adopted a second dog from Angels. After my third adoption, I decided I should volunteer in a different capacity :-). I cannot explain how rewarding it is to see a shaking, scared, shelter dog blossom into a loving pet and then be adopted into a loving home. There are so many great rescues out there. If you are in the greater Atlanta area, please consider volunteering with us - angelsrescue.org. If you live somewhere else, consider volunteering with a local rescue where you live. You will be so glad you did.

I didn’t plan to adopt again. But after looking online, I found an adorable pup. And she just happened to be a rescue with Angels Among Us Rescue. I was amazed at what this tiny girl had gone through. Lucky for me and my Loosey, Angels didn’t hesitate to rescue Loosey even though her injuries required extensive orthopedic surgery. She is now alive, happy and very spoiled! And for the past 6+ years, I have been volunteering with Angels helping save other pups like Loosey. “Save One Until There Are None.” Thank you Angels Among Us!
