I love this NGO! I’ve been following their great work since it’s inception and it’s impact can’t be denied. I particularly love that many of the working team are from vulnerable populations and training them to work with animals is a part of their healing process, as well as, healing heal animals who desperately need it.

I have been a part of the HFC family for 10 years in various capacities; employee, volunteer, advisor, donor and fundraiser. I absolutely LOVE this organization and their results-based successes working with survivors of extreme gender violence and empowering women and children. I seen floors on shelter homes added, survivors evolve into their true potential and children attend school for the first through HFC programs. The programs at HFC work and hundreds of lives have been positively impacted. I can’t wait for the next 10 years!
