As an educator, we appreciate the volunteer experiences Sock’n It! affords students. As a volunteer, delivering socks to women with children living in shelters was an amazing experience. To see the delight in someone’s eyes when given a pair of socks was truly heart warming. These are the people who truly need socks. I helped Sock’n It! bundle and tie hundreds of pairs of socks with a beautiful Christmas bow for women, children and men in shelters. I look forward to volunteering this year for the Christmas deliveries to shelters. GOD bless the mission of Sock’n It!
