I am proud to be a volunteer for Columbus Hospice of Georgia and Alabama. Whether I am entering data, answering phones, stuffing envelopes, baking and selling cookies, or helping at Kids Camp, I know my time is valued by this organization. The employees always express their gratitude to me. But most important, whenever I tell someone in the community that I volunteer for hospice, they start telling me how wonderful Columbus Hospice was for their family when they were losing a loved one. The last person told me how great it is to have her husband's recorded voice telling his life story. Our organization made that happen.
