I’ve been a volunteer with HHER, and have been a witness, and occasionally a small part of, the love and care given to the animals brought into rescue.

HHER is the forever home for several neglect cases. There I fell in love with an elderly mule, the victim of severe over work by her owners. Lisa brought her into rescue where she spent the rest of her days. She was beloved by everyone, and the time I spent with her, and the other equines, was wonderful.
