The first time I went to Animal Place in Grass Valley, two of the pigs flopped over at my feet so that I could scratch their bellies. I immediately stopped eating pork. How could I eat something that does the same thing my beloved dog does? How could I eat something that expressed love towards me the first time they met me? I love going there and seeing the animals that are so happy that at one time lived in terrified fear. This place is amazing and makes me feel really good.
