This was an email I sent in regards to FPS and what they've done for myself and my family. It's the only way I can express how I felt immediately after our experience.

Hey Alisa & FPS family,
I want to thank you for getting in touch with us. I can't begin to tell you how much my family and I are so completely grateful for everything you and FPS family has done for us. Carol along with everyone else that greeted us when we arrived had open arms and hearts. I've never had such a hard time leaving so many people behind that was a part of all of this. My family is my life and what you gave them was something I will never forget, I know this will stay with them for a lifetime. I'm not sure what I can do to ever repay you for what was given to us. Most of all the friendships and individual thoughtfulness to talk to each one of us, to be with us, to laugh with us, to give us strength again through human contact, caring, and so much support. I'd like to help in some way to make a difference. There was a few small gifts given, the bracelets with a card attached touched me. A perfect stranger took the time to make this special gift for all of us. I've always told my kids, I'd rather have a card made by them than a card with someone else's words. Along with the bag full of gifts given, I just want to thank you, and everyone from FPS! Marcie started something that feels like a gift from God! I thank you, my family thanks you! What ever I can help with please let me know. Carol and her family will always be in my heart. Today I woke up at home, I closed my eyes and hoped just for a second that I was back in Maine with everyone who made my life change in a matter of a few days. With every part of my heart and soul.... Thank you!💚💙
