I continue to be impressed with the way that PSS has been able to adapt its programs in its three main service areas: Older Adult Centers, Circle of Care support for those caring for older adults, and informational offerings for adults over 50 who are planning the next stage in their lives.

During this pandemic year, the PSS staff has been working extremely hard and inventively to make sure that those who rely on it are not disappointed. PSS has switched the way it delivers services and checks in with its members and clients, but has not lost a step in doing so. I am proud to serve on its Board of Directors.

Every day PSS acts in concrete ways to carry out its mission of strengthening the capacity of older New Yorkers to thrive. With its nine senior centers offering a variety of activities every day to engage local New Yorkers, its care consultants assisting kinship caregivers in each of New York City's five boroughs, and its many programs each month that involve New Yorkers 50+ in learning and thinking about the next steps in their lives, PSS and its staff and volunteers provide services of unsurpassed quality. I am proud to be a member of the PSS Board.
