It is an honor and a privilege to be a specialty provider at the clinic. Every time I walk through the doors and see all the amazing volunteers it gives me a sense of purpose and peace. I am comforted to know I have a small part with all of us working together to give our patients access to care, improving their quality of life and healthcare outcomes in a dignified manner.
All of our patients are so appreciative and walk in and out with smiles and usually giving out hugs to the volunteers. All the volunteers are selfless and always thinking of others, making sure everyone has what they need. I also love seeing all the young future medical providers that come through and volunteer, like pre-med, Med students, NP/PA students, Nurses, MAs, Pharmacist, social workers and more, it just takes a village and I'm proud to be part of this one!

This organization is a valuable resource for new parents of a Heart Warrior baby. They provide resources and comfort and networking events so the families do not feel like they are going through life alone. From in the ICU to Ronald McDonald House or Facebook, emails however they connect to Mended Little Hearts they are instantly welcomed with knowledgeable other moms. We have been on local TV talking about MLH and local Awareness Days at Baseball Games spreading MLH in the community. Heart Moms need MLH!
