We adopted some chickens from Animal Place several years ago. They did an amazing job giving us information about chickens who have been rescued from factories. It was great to bring those girls home and have them experience running around on grass and being in an open environment. They came with feather missing and looking pretty bad - after the first time they molted, all their feathers came back and they looked terrific. Animal Place gave us an opportunity to open our home and coop to animals who needed it. Thank you! We're a "client" but also a "donor," having given to this wonderful non-profit.
