When you are adopting a child, it can be an overwhelming experience! People tell you about grants, but you have no idea which ones to apply for, or how you will make it all work out. It is an incredibly vulnerable thing to send off information on your home study and ask people who don't even know you to give money so you can bring your child home! Gift of Adoption handled this process so professionally and courteously! And above all, they granted us money! Of all the myriad of grants to which we applied, they were the only ones who awarded us. It has been such a blessing, as it literally will pay the orphanage fee that we would not have been able to pay without it! The staff in emails have been so nice and genuinely seem to care about our adoption, which also goes a long way! We are so blessed that people give to this nonprofit, and that they have in turn given to us! Our beautiful and perfect son will be coming home in three weeks, thanks to Gift of Adoption!!
