Because any form of effective self-regulation is a rarity in government sponsored service, the existence of P.O.G.O. is an existential necessity, without which our society would soon cease to function at all. Their attention to corrupt practices and schemes is a huge assist in the disclosure of said aberrations and the corrective forces that are brought to bear upon them. I appreciate the opportunity they provide me to contribute to this monitoring service.
