Back in June 2009 my husband surprised us with a puppy he had seen on the Internet. He drove to San Antonio, Texas, from our home in Mount Prospect, Illinois. There he met Sue Hillman from Tess K9 Rescue in San Antonio. They had been communicating about Gina for a while. I was shocked and dismayed to discover he had kept his puppy search a secret from me and had brought Gina home with no discussion. But I looked into baby Gina’s soulful brown eyes and fell in love. I have never had a dog but the love and loyalty I share with sweet Gina is unlike anything I have experienced. Sue Hillman and Tess K9 Rescue in San Antonio performs a much-needed service, saving the lives of so many wonderful dogs that bring joy and love to many families. Everything was handled in a clear, professional manner. We strongly endorse Sue Hillman and Tess K9 Rescue of San Antonio as a responsible, caring, well-organized nonprofit that benefits so many!
