Muddy Paws Rescue is hands down the best organization. I began fostering with them on a whim and pretty soon was fostering a tripod named Spencer. Spencer had been hit by a car and despite already having one hind leg amputated needed an additional surgery on his remaining hind leg. As I fostered him I had the opportunity to watch as the Muddy Paws team worked tirelessly to ensure that he had the best medical care despite the cost. They graciously paid for surgery, medication, rehabilitation and anything else he needed to be the strong and healthy pup they knew he could be. I decided to adopt Spencer and in the last year I have seen the benefit of all the hard work they put in. He is healthy and happy and can outrun any four legged dog out there! My experience was with just one of the many. They have helped countless dogs find their forever homes and through that have helped just as many humans find their best friend.
