Back in 2013 my sister was battling lung cancer and underwent chemotherapy. During a phone conversation she mentioned that after she lost her hair her head was always cold. I got online and googled chemo caps and came across the Knots of Love’s website. I sent a message and asked how I could get a couple of the caps for my sister. They asked me what her favorite colors were and said they’d send them to her at no cost to me. Soon after I began making caps and then later some NICU blankets for the babies with cancer. It is heartwarming to know I am helping others in need. I continue supporting Knots of Love with donations of caps, blankets and money to help with shipping costs. When my sister had cancer I looked online for caps to keep her head warm and fond Knots of Love. They sent her 2 beautiful caps for free! That was 4 years ago and I’ve been making caps and baby blankets for NICU ever since. I appreciate the personal thank you phone calls from the Founder, Christine Fabiano, when my donations are received. Proud to be able to help those in need. Knots of Love really makes a difference to those in need!
