Review for FixNation, Los Angeles, CA, USA
What a blessing FixNation is to the community cats and their caretakers and pet cats and their owners in Los Angeles County! Because FixNation exists, thousands of felines, who would have perpetuated an endless cycle of litters, will no longer do that. Instead, they will be able to concentrate on keeping themselves alive and healthy.
I have seen this in action in my own neighborhood. I have taken dozens of cats there over the years. I have trapped them, and they have been health checked, vaccinated, and fixed at this worthy nonprofit, and then I rerelease them back where they came from. I have seen the cats in the colony I care for become healthier because the males do not fight for females and territory and the females are not constantly pregnant.
Additionally, owned cats can have the same benefits at a greatly reduced rate so pet owners can afford to break the cycle of unwanted kittens.
I appreciate the work FixNation does on behalf of the homeless and pet cats of the county.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Have branches in several locations in Los Angeles County. I live on the eastern edge of the county and it takes a lot of time to travel to and from the facility. Between dropping the cats off by 8:30 in the morning and being available to pick them up when they are ready at 3:00 in the afternoon, it is certainly an all day activity since it makes no sense to go all the way home in the mean time, Los Angeles traffic being what it is most of the time. It would be so wonderful to have one closer.
