We were fortunate to adopt a sweet saddlebred gelding through Serenity Saviors this past spring. Remmington was saved from a kill pen by these good folks. After 5 months of kindness and nurturing and some 300 lbs he came to live with us in GA. It is hard to imagine how this gentle, eager to please guy fell on his fate but he got another chance to live. Now he has a safe, comfortable home to belong to from now on. We were surprised and totally impressed that Cherina brought him to us in spite of all the busy things going on at her stables. She gave me great advice on everything from conscientious stable management to taming my ornery donkey. Her commitment to this mission is remarkable! We support Serenity Saviors on a regular basis and encourage other horse lovers to join in.
