Two years after losing our dog to cancer, we felt that the time was right for another dog. Referred by our daughter, we contacted OPH and went through the adoption qualification process. After multiple conversations and a thorough vetting, we were approved for adoption. Our preference was a puppy's we were placed on the puppy adoption email list. When we saw a puppy that seemed to meet our most important criteria, we contacted the OPH puppy coordinator. That ultimately led to us selecting the puppy that we wanted, after the OPH coordinator agreed that he was the best fit based upon our conversations. We met him at his foster mom's place and decided that he was right for us. We brought him home, along with a very comprehensive and informative file that showed his shot record, and any other critical facts that were known about him. In addition, there were excellent reference materials. We love our puppy, he has responded with love to us, and our house is now complete in a way that only a dog can provide. Throughout this process, OPH was thorough, professional, and completely dedicated to providing what is best for the dog and the adopters. Thank you!
