When I retired as an educator, I was looking for a place to volunteer where families were the focus. A friend took me to Santa Claus, Inc. because she felt it would be a perfect match for me. How RIGHT she was! I found volunteers to be friendly, dedicated, hard working and continually looking for ways to provide more services to families and children in need. Since beginning as a volunteer there in 2007, I have had the privilege to work in various positions. These opportunities broadened my understanding of the organization.. We have continued to grow and expand those services. I volunteer with several other groups but Santa Claus, Inc. has earned the "top spot" on my list. Why? This is an organization that goes the "extra mile" for those in need while continuing to be upbeat and tireless in their efforts. This is why they truly exemplify the title, "Great Non Profit".
