I owe so much to the Patient Advocate Foundation. After undergoing a bone marrow transplant as a teen, money was tight. Years of medical bills kept my family from being able to save money for college. PAF's "Scholarships for Survivors" Program has enabled me to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse so I can pay forward what I have been given. PAF has helped me and countless other college students who have dealt with life-threatening illnesses through this program. The staff at PAF go above and beyond and are always ready to help in anyway they can. They are there for patients when they have no one else to turn to. I am truly grateful for all that PAF does for patients in need and for students like myself. -C. Newsom
