I have been a Supporter and Patreon member for Skydog since early 2017. Clare and her amazing staff have rescued and saved so many horses in need over the years. The reason I continue to support is because Clare’s rescues are done with always the thought of sustaining the ratio of horses to her land. No horse will ever be in danger of not being able to live out their lives free and happy til it is their natural time to leave this earth. Horses are rescued who are seniors, wild and untamable, from many horrible situations and they all are given a chance at a new life. The number of supporters that follow Skydog speak for themselves. I 100% recommend Skydog Sanctuary to anyone!!

I absolutely without a second thought, blink of an eye, hesitation”highly” recommend Skydog Sanctuary as the best nonprofit organization I have worked with. I have followed along for over 3 years now. I have been following, donating, a patron turned Supporter of a beautiful Curly mare from Wyoming Ember who was reunited with her father, Goliath at Skydog Sanctuary 7/2019! I couldn’t be prouder than to be a small part of the work that founder Clare Staples-Reed, does at Skydog. She is selfless, loving, devoted and the most ardent advocate of the Wild Mustangs. Her Sanctuary gives a 2nd, 3rd or last chance to those mustangs who have been abused, rounded up and separated from their families, thrown away, dumped in kill pens only to ship to slaughter if not for Clare. I consider Clare a friend and I am happy to help whenever I can to help her save another horse or donkey.
Therefore, again I recommend Skydog Sanctuary as the best non-profit organization I have worked with and will continue to do so.

I am a monthly Donor and supporter of Skydog Sanctuary. I found Skydog almost 2 years ago while I was going thru some tremendous loss and was looking for something to feel better about. I have always loved horses and as I read the stories of the rescues Clare was helping I found the light out of my pain. I wanted to help in any way I could as these horses/burros came from many different backgrounds and sad situations. The work they do at Skydog is absolutely amazing and sometimes heartbreaking but the rescued horses that have landed there are living their best lives. I have learned so much about these horses and their resilience, love, family bonds, friendships and their capacity to forgive. I highly support all the work and effort Clare and her team do at Skydog and encourage anyone interested to join.
