I've been on two orphanage trips with the American Red Cross Club at UCI, and each trip has just been an incredible impact on my life. The amazing work that Corazon de Vida is doing with these kids, from providing everyday things that we take for granted such as food, toiletries, and clothes, to a forever home and even access to higher education is absolutely irreplaceable and a privilege to see even once a year. The kids are always willing to play and have fun, and all the adults, from tour guides to the amazing staff working at each home are incredibly nice and kind. I have no words for how their work impacts these kids in a positive way. Every time I go on a CDV trip, I always realize how I take things for granted and it really opens my eyes to the amazing life I live and what we all can do to help others in need. I sincerely thank Corazon de Vida for allowing me to be a part of their amazing work. I can't wait to sign up next year!!
