My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Harleys Dream, Berthoud, CO, USA
Since the moment I first read Harley's story in 2014 I knew I had to do something about ending puppy mills. Before that, I didn't know puppy mills existed. I can't create change alone, so along with hundreds of other volunteers and supporters, we raise awareness about the puppy mill issue. Harley's Dream believes education is the way to end suffering for mill dogs. If customers cease to support puppy mills by buying their 'products', puppy mills will cease to exist. It's the basic principle of supply and demand. As a disabled person, being involved with Harley's Dream gives me direction and a sense of purpose. I know I am contributing to a most worthwhile cause under the leadership of a nonprofit which stands for the love of dogs and each other, integrity, responsibility and positive values so desperately needed in our world today. Through Harley's Dream and it's namesake, Harley, I have made lifelong friends and become part of an extended family, who together, are making a difference to end puppy mills.
