Review for A Mother's Rest Charitable Respite Foundation, New Market, MD, USA
I have an adult son with Autism and ADHD. I also have two adopted sons, one with Attachment Disorder.
I am able to come to the Inn and enjoy either the company of like-minded moms or peace and quiet huddled, recovering, in my room.
I highly recommend a stay for anyone who needs some r&r and time to recover from wherever life has thrown your way.

This respite retreat has been a god-send in my life. I have three boys; my oldest son is 17, has adhd and is on the spectrum; my middle son is 8, he has reactive attachment disorder from trauma in foster care before we adopted him; my youngest is 2-which in itself should be in medical books as a condition! We don’t have the money for “girls weekends” or overnights in a hotel, but A Mother’s Rest is a wonderful place that allows me to take care of me for a small donation.

I was invited to go with a friend of mine and share her room (one room has two twin beds). One of the other guests cancelled so they gave me my own room! They were kind, accommodating, very attentive. It was an amazing local escape.
