Pauline, the volunteer director, is not only extremely compassionate but also smart, running her rescue effectively. Since inception, she has saved so many animals, giving them quality of life, either to adoption or end of life. She is a great asset to the local rescue community.

The expertise and planning it takes to organize these runs is nothing short of amazing. The Kindred Heart organization and volunteers have the animal’s BEST interest at heart - always. So if you read a story or review about a run or two that didn’t turn out as expected or planned, please keep this in mind. It is about what is best for the animal. I recently became a volunteer transporter because I saw the dedication and commitment first hand (through a run I requested). The communication and updates are fantastic. Keep up the wonderful and much needed work! I support KHTC.
