Fantastic organization to work with - it is obvious that Andrea cares so much about chinchillas and their wellbeing by the way she helps to find adoptive homes. I had found two chinchillas (brothers) on a local page and went to retrieve them - it seemed like they had been neglected due to the owners not knowing how to take care of them, so I brought them in, got them into my preferred chinchilla setup, and made them feel at home until I found Andrea and her nonprofit to help me find a permanent home for them. Andrea is a joy to work with, and she looked for a home until she found one that was perfectly vetted and made me feel actually GOOD about sending the boys there - I met with them on the phone first, and then had them come and meet and pick up the boys and their setup, and we still keep in contact sometimes for updates. This is an amazing operation run by an amazing lady who obviously cares for chinchillas so much! I have interacted with them on social media to help raise awareness for their efforts, and they are so kind and appreciative - especially with their 20+ new chinchillas that were taken in from a hoarding situation, they need all the help and support they can get.
